Shipping, Returns, Damaged Merchandise, Customer Service

Note

Please check that  "bill to"  address submitted matches the "billing address" on your last credit card statement.  If it does not match, your order cannot be processed.


For your protection we require - CVV2 number

CVV2 is a security measure we require for all transactions. Since a CVV2 number is listed on your credit card, but is not stored anywhere, the only way to know the correct CVV2 number for your credit card is to physically have possession of the card itself. All VISA, MasterCard and American Express cards made in America in the past 5 years or so have a CVV2 number, while those in Europe and Asia will be joining the CVV2 program shortly.  

Where is the Security Code (CVV2) Located?

The card security code is a unique three digit number printed on your debit/credit card. This number is not embossed on the card and hence not printed on receipts - making it difficult for anyone other than the genuine cardholder, to know it. Some card issuers refer to this number as the 'Card Security Code' others as the 'personal security code' and others as 'Card Verification Value'.  Usually located on back of card after your account number.  

Shipping
 
 Orders via United States Postal Service or UPS within 2 business days.   Insurance is added to all packages.  If shipping charges are higher than your online order form you will be emailed with the updated charges before your order is processed. 

Returns

All returns must be made within 15 days of reception.  No exceptions.  You must call for a RMA (Return Merchandise Number) for all returns, damaged or not.  Merchandise returned without an RMA will be declined and returned to sender.  If you need to return undamaged merchandise, it must resaleable; unopened and in the originally sealed packaging.  There is a 20% restocking fee on all returned, undamaged merchandise unless exchanged for merchandise of equal or greater value.  Postage is not refundable and not computed into the restocking fee.  For obvious reasons, orders that have been shipped but not yet received by you cannot be cancelled.  You can, however, return them within the terms of this document once you receive the merchandise.


Damaged Merchandise

If your merchandise arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.  We will provide you full assistance in the unlikely event.  If merchandise is returned without notification of damage, buyer will be RESPONSIBLE for all damages. You must call or email requesting a RMA prior to returning damaged merchandise. Items returned without an RMA will be refused and returned to sender.  Damaged merchandise may be exchanged for a replacement item without a restocking fee. And, in most cases, we'll credit you the shipping costs you incurred to ship the package back and will cover the UPS Ground postage to get it to you. If you'd like to have the exchange shipped quicker, we can apply the ground cost toward any shipping method.  We stand behind our merchandise and want to make it as easy and most convenient in the unlikely event.  Restocking fees apply if returning damaged merchandise for cash credit.  Exchanges are exempt.  

United States Postal Service: If any item you recieve the package you receive is damaged, has loss of contents, or only the box is delivered. Please bring the above to the Post Office and file a Claim. Once a claim has been filed contact Aquarium Instruments for replacement or credit of your damaged item.

We provide amongst the best customer service in the industry.  If you would like more information about any of the products we offer, please don't hesitate to call.  In fact, we encourage you to do so.  We want to provide you with the highest quality merchandise available, and at the lowest cost.  If you have questions about your setup or application, we would be happy to discuss it with you.  After the receipt of your merchandise, we are always happy to offer you installation and operating instructions and advice, no matter how long ago you made your purchase.  Customer Service is our number one priority.  Please take advantage of it.  We would rather sell you a lower priced item than higher priced merchandise that is less suitable for your application.
